Top 5 Tea Bag Packaging

By G+ Author: Elizabeth Sanchez.

There’s something about teabags that manages to continuously inspire designers to come up with new ways to package an old favorite.
From teabags that evolve in to paper cranes to teabags representing people, there seems to be an endless number of creative teabag designs out there.

Here is a list of my Top 5 Innovative & Creative Teabag Designs.

1. Mnum

Coming in a myriad of different scenarios, from bus passengers to icy-water-plungers these little teabag people look very relaxed in your warm cuppa – and their arms help to keep them from falling in!

2. Nathalia Ponomareva’s Green Berry Tea

When you first open up the teabag it looks like any other, it isn’t until you drop it in hot water that you see how truly creative it is – the teabags unfold into a paper crane!

3. Teastar

Starting out as a geometric star, each cluster contains 10 teabags in 5 flavors, each individual teabag then folds out into an oldschool Yap-Yap toy!

4. Mo Kang Tea-Shirts

This cute design by Mo Kong not only allows you to keep your tea as organized as your closet, but also stops your tea bag from dropping in, in a similar way to Mnum’s Teabag people.

These adorable little teabags come with five different messages to help you send a love note in a unique way. I especially love the hand written style of the typography – making it even more personalized.
