Sportline: Fitness Electronics Packaging

With more energized graphics and a new organizational hierarchy, this refocused packaging system creates visual unity across products.

The new package now explains the functionalities of each product, using more “human” language, followed by the existing product numbers to maintain brand equity. It appeals to a younger, urban athlete who runs for fitness and casual racing; more than anything, it’s about stress relief and setting a tangible goal to accomplish.

These designs are by Olivia Paden, a freelance graphic designer! Here portfolio profile states:

With a focus on brand identity and packaging, I have a strong interest in problem solving that is clear, simple, and elegant.

As a graphic designer, I feel that brands need to speak across all touch-points, whether it be digital, physical, or spacial, as our interactions continue to evolve and change. Above all, it’s about communicating a message that is both cohesive and engaging. Beginning my process with extensive research and development, I find it helpful to put myself in the shoes of the end user… that’s why I approach projects with a sense of playfulness and thoughtfulness, to create a meaningful brand experience.

When I’m not designing, you can usually catch me running the local mountain trails, geeking out at a museum, or exploring new spots around LA.

I have an expected graduation date of April 2013 from Art Center College of Design, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.

I love these concept sketches!
