Innovative Wine Designs

Who doesn’t love a good bottle of wine? From whites to reds, full-bodied to dry, meaty to woody, wine is as diverse as the population that consumes it. Nothing adds to a nice glass of wine more than a creative bottle to accompany the flavors within. This list of innovative wine designs will expand not only your taste palate, but your artistic one as well.

Benazzoli

The idea behind the wine designs of Benazzoli is to have the Harvest, the Cellar, the Bottle, the Table, and the Mouth all united through the flavors of the wine, the smooth curves of the bottle, and the art-deco, abstract female portrait labels that cover the bottle. The goal of Benazzoli’s portraits is to represent an illustration that is “evocative, dreamlike, and magical.” These three characteristics are portrayed through the labels of the four different cartoon women on the wine, each of who have their own style and own personal taste, much like the liquid encased in the glass bottle.

Figula Olaszrizling

When it comes to wine designs, Figula Olaszrizling takes the cake (or should we say, the grape). Its delicate yet enchanting vine designs wrap around the wine bottle to create the sense that the consumer is holding his/her own vineyard right in his/her own hands. The creators of Figula Olaszrizling say that their work “intends to highlight the importance of the land and the vine” as key parts of what makes each wine flavor as unique as the gold-leaf vines that envelope the bottles.

7 SINS

Wine designs are not always fun and games. Sometimes they are serious and mysterious, like with 7 SINS wine. As you can assume, the theme of these wine designs are the seven deadly sins. Each adjective is illustrated in a loosely, creatively sketched out fashion on the bottle. The labels themselves are not your standard rectangular label. For example, the “Pride” wine has a label that is in the shape of a fist with a middle finger sticking up, to illustrate the flaws of being too prideful.

Ikano

Ikano wine designs use the influence of music and the distinct flavors of different types of wines to personify each wine as if it were a musician. It is clear that Ikano wants the consumer to think of wine as having its own personality, beat, and genre of music. For example, Semi-Sweet Red is illustrated as a daring, flashy violinist who wraps her listeners in her red train of flavor. On the other hand, Semi-Sweet white is a humble guitarist, playing the melodies of home, weaving a tapestry of villages in the clouds.

The next time you reach for a bottle of wine, consider more than just its flavor. Wine designs add another level to the already unique flavor of the white or red of your choosing as well as provide an excellent conversation piece! Cheers!
