Student Adam Torok of Hungary designed the 6AM egg cartons that are above and below. Unfortunately for us Torok does not go into detail about his project on his Behance page. Though we don’t know much, it is pretty certain that this packaging is more eco-friendly or sustainable than your average supermarket egg carton. It’s hard to know for sure but it looks like this carton was made without staples or adhesive, which is a big hurdle in creating a sustainable package(adhesives or other hardwares attached to paper packaging disrupt the recycling plant process). Additionally, it looks like only one type of black ink was used which is again much better for the environment.
Besides from being eco-friendly the cartons are aesthetically pleasing. They come off as containing food that is organic, natural and healthy. Of course all of this means squat if your eggs crack on your way back from the supermarket; so until these bad boys get a test run it cannot be said for sure that they are the perfect egg packages.
